Lil' Gobblers Turkey Bites win fans in DC!

The P St. and Tenley Whole Foods stores in our nations capitol hosted the Koch's Turkey Farm demo's this week and the turkey nuggets were a big hit! Cooked up in just 10 minutes in a hot pan, customers sampled the tender treats and enjoyed every bite. Made from turkey tenderloins, the whole muscle nuggets won universal acceptance from hungry shoppers. My advice is to pick some up from your Whole Foods Market next time you're shopping, they come in handy when you're hungry!

Lil' Gobblers a smash hit in VA & MD!

Whole Foods stores in Alexandria, Virginia and Annapolis, MD saw Koch's Turkey Farm Lil' Gobblers Turkey Nuggets sell out this weekend, after customers sampled the tasty treats. Just 10-12 minutes in a hot skillet with a splash of Canola oil and a side of Annie's BBQ sauce wowed the crowd. Bolstered by nutrition numbers that are low in calories and saturated fat, kids of all ages were unanimous in their approval of the nuggets. After selling out in both stores, I sampled Cranberry Turkey Burgers - another smash hit!

Fox 29 Anchor likes Koch's Turkey nuggets!

Friday at the Callowhill Philly Whole Foods Market was sampling day for Lil' Gobblers Turkey Bites. Customers enjoyed the tasty treats all day long, including Fox 29 morning anchor, Sheinelle Jones. She is seen here, in the friendly company of the Koch's Turkey Farm ambassador for the day, Christian Hunker. She couldn't have been more kind, taking time with customers and staff for photo's. I predict a great career for Ms. Jones, as well as continued successful sales for the terrific Turkey Nuggets from Koch's Turkey Farm at Whole Foods Markets up and down the East Coast.

Taste of Lower Merion

Last night in Lower Merion HS a fundraiser was held featuring caterers, markets like Di Bruno Bros. and Whole Foods, and one Turkey Farm from Schuylkill County, PA - Koch's! Hundreds of people from the Philly suburb sampled food and drink while vendors exchanged business cards and samples. The evening would not have been a success without volunteers working the saample tables, like these two young ladies representing Koch's Turkey Farm - best in show if I do say so!

What was happening every 7 minutes?

The Whole Foods Market in Wynnewood, PA had it's 'Grand Re-opening' last night and the house was packed. Shoppers of all ages roamed the aisles, going from one sampling station to the next, filling their carts (and their mouths) with a variety of foods. I was situated in the meat department, right near the display of Cranberry Turkey Burgers.

Every 7 minutes another batch of the slightly sweet burgers came out of the skillet, steaming fresh from their searing time in a splash of canola oil. Every 7 minutes, another customer found a food they loved, a food combo that they had tasted before - Turkey and Cranberries. This was different, this was a burger and it was love at first bite.....just ask Tessa of Wynnewood. (see pic)

Next stop - Atlanta!

It's a New Year and I'll be taking a road trip to Atlanta next week to introduce more people to Koch's Turkey Farm products. First, a Whole Foods Vendor Day on Jan. 11th at Turner Field in Atlanta, followed by demo's in 4 Atlanta area stores. We are introducing some new turkey casseroles (Turkey Dinner, Turkey Pot Pie, Turkey Chili, etc.) and this is a great chance to get feedback direct from front line store personnel. For the in-store demo's, the Cranberry Turkey Burger will take center stage at the Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Ponce and Duluth Whole Foods Markets. Here's to much success for all in 2011!
